Life for me has been (and continues to be) a most interesting God-designed mosaic of relationships and experiences. College years were spent in Oregon and Washington, with additional years spent in Bible College in Chicago and in NE Tennessee for both flight and aviation mechanical training. After transitioning to SE Alaska, I flew floatplanes commercially – owning a charter business.

Several years were spent as a fleet manager of a large, diverse fishing fleet out of Petersburg, AK. I eventually created my own marine brokerage (Tidewater Brokerage) which listed and sold commercial fishing vessels and all the permits and quota shares for the various commercial fisheries throughout Alaska.

During the early years while living in Tacoma during the winter months so my oldest son could attend a school for the hearing impaired, I found a deep interest and natural affinity for Real Estate, first in residential brokerage and then in land. The last 20 years (of nearly 30) were spent year-round in Alaska. Eventually, my wife Benita (Benni) and I bought a commercial fishing boat and spent an interesting, educational, and non-profitable summer salmon fishing.

The fall of 2003 found us eagerly migrating out of the rain and off SE Alaska’s Mitkof Island to Kalispell, MT, bringing with us the home office marine brokerage. Since then, we‘ve pushed the fast-forward button learning all we can about this beautiful area, real estate, people and businesses – and of course, now have become deeply involved in Real Estate Brokerage.

Benita’s background in marketing and communications has been a tremendous help and encouragement to me. We have 8 amazing ‘kids’ and 21 wonderful grandkids scattered among Alaska, Montana, Michigan, Alabama and Arizona. Both of us continue to have deep involvements in church and Christian organizations since our youth. When time allows, we enjoy boating and kayaking on the many surrounding lakes, camping or exploring. I also broker aircraft.

My various experiences have blended and prepared me for this time in my life. Rich experiences of meeting and gaining the confidence of people from diverse backgrounds, dealing with contracts, negotiations, crisis management, problem solving, meeting needs and being a perpetual “learner” have helped me become a trusted and knowledgeable Real Estate Broker.

I love people, love Northwest Montana and could easily be a one-man Chamber of Commerce. I’d be pleased if you called, texted (406-270-7320) or emailed (brucetulloch@gmail.com) to ask questions, share yourself and your needs or whatever would be of interest to you!
